GUIDE FOR INK DRAWING CHALLENGE: DAY 14

I created a history of each day of my Inktober 2019 challenge. This article documents creative thoughts, and tools and materials choices. The purpose is to guide future participants toward success.
Day 14 “October Flora”
History
Beautiful plants at my home…the last of the squash blossoms, my newly purchased Mexican Marigolds, 2 large pots that I placed on each side of my doorstep. Then the last of this season’s apples. I plan to watercolor many of the images in this series, but especially this one. I took photos of these plants for color references.
Main Idea
This is the first time in this series that I drew directly with the pen without penciling in the main image first. I use the pen directly to cross hatch/shade.
Materials Used
Canson Bristol vellum paper,100 lb. Micron felt pen. Size 05
Low difficulty.
